Who is David?

David is the right choice when seeking a professional glamour and fashion photographer with a breadth of experience.   

During his apprenticeship, David was influenced by two key mentors.  Internationally acclaimed photographer Tony Paliser taught David the critical skills of lighting and posing.  David also learned from head television cameraman Martin Reeves.  Martin trained David on the importance of how to frame a picture properly.  He also learned the value of how to involve a subject in its surrounding and how strategic placement and involvement work together to make a frame really pop.  

His style, while relaxed, is meticulous and thorough.  Clients often engage David to deliver end to end campaign management.  David takes on a brief and develops a complete photographic campaign including casting, location and styling.  All equipment used by David is top class ensuring clients have better quality images suited for a variety of end uses;  whether print media, outdoor or online executions.

His work has appeared internationally including in a UK Men's lifestyle magazine and locally in magazines such as Ralph and DNA.  

David has a  passion for portfolio work, catalogue shoot, beauty portraiture and night club promotional flyers.  He also enjoys sharing his skills and has trained dozens of amateur photographers in NSW, QLD and VIC via his Glamour Basics Workshops.

David is available for photographic shoots and consulting services either at his studio in Annandale or elsewhere by arrangement.
